Study Sees More Breast Cancer at Young Age

  The article "Study Sees More Breast Cancer at Young Age" is about how scientists have found that breast cancer has increased in young women ages 25 to 39. They say it might have increased in the last three decades. Scientists are not sure what caused this increase. 
   They found that these advance cases climbed from 1.53 per 100,000 women to 2.9 in 100,000 women in 2009. The total increase over these 34 years was 1.37 per 100,000 women. This was worrisome since this cancer had already spread to the organs like the liver or the lungs by the time it was diagnosed. That diminishes the odds of survival.
    Researchers cannot offer any advice except for young women to get checked to make sure they don't have it. They can't just assume that they don't have the disease because it can and does occur in younger women. Breast cancer is not common in younger women. Only 1.8% of the cases are diagnosed in women aged 20 to 34. 10% are in women aged 35 to 44. However, when it does occur in younger women, it is more deadlier, and scientists don't know why.
   This article has really got me thinking about breast cancer. It's a disease that can be deadly. The fact that now it can appear in younger women at anytime. It's not just some of us that can affected, it can be all of us that get affected. There probably is nothing to do after we get diagnosed with it
