Romeo & Juliet

  I am currently reading Romeo & Juliet. While reading the first few acts, I focused a lot on the character Capulet. Capulet is Juliet's father. He can be demanding sometimes but he is also protective of Juliet. He thinks Paris will be a great husband if he marries Juliet.
  During the first act, it is really easy to find Capulet's hatred for the Montagues. When Capulet's kinsmen fight Montague's kinsmen. Capulet sees them and prepares himself to fight. Lady Montague does nothing to stop him.
  During scene 2, he is overjoyed knowing Paris wants to marry Juliet. He is happy but asks Paris to wait until Juliet is fourteen. She is his only daughter now. He refers to her as the only hier. He allows Paris to woo her.
  During Juliet's party, Tybalt notices Romeo. When he tells Capulet, Capulet does nothing. This shows that he can sometimes control himself. He chose to not do anything to Romeo.
  Capulet is an interesting character. He is protective of Juliet and knows how to handle his actions with the Capulets. He knows when it's good to fight and when he shouldn't.
